IMPORTANT:
Please read and respond to this
letter quickly. If you are not
the decision maker for your
organization please pass this to
the correct individual. It is
anticipated the number of
vendors wishing to participate
in this event will exceed our
vendor limit.
The NYSLGITDA will hold our
Annual Fall Conference Vendor
Social in Syracuse, NY, at the
Sheraton Syracuse University
Hotel and Conference Center,
October 9, 2008. We are
expecting more than 60 county,
state agency and other local
government CIOs, IT Directors
and Senior Staff to attend.
This is a great opportunity
for Vendors to get to know local
government IT decision makers
from around the state.
The agenda for the Vendor
Social is as follows: Vendor
registration is from 4:00 – 4:30
pm followed from 4:30 pm - 10 pm
by a Social, Dinner and teamwork
- collaboration building event.
The hospitality suite will be
open to all vendors after the
event. Bottom line: Vendors
get to spend over 5 quality
hours with Local Government IT
decision makers.
The rules are simple:
· One attendee allowed per
vendor
· Cost is $600.00 payable in
advance (checks to no later than
Sept 12, 2008) If we do not
receive your payment by the
12th, we will be moving to
vendors on the waiting list!!!
· Only 65 vendors will be
authorized to attend on a first
come first served basis
· No vendor booths or
sponsorship opportunities. Just
time 5 plus hours to get to know
the CIOs and their needs “one on
one”
In order for you to attend
the Vendor Social, you must
register with Sylvia Wohlfahrt
as soon as possible at (845)
340-3307, or e-mail her at

Space is limited to the first 65
vendors responding. Sylvia will
send you an invoice once you are
registered. Sylvia will also
maintain a waiting list, in case
a vendor does not pay or has to
drop out.
Additional opportunities for
the Fall event are for a social
/ dinner sponsorship on October
8 ($5,000), and a lunch
sponsorship on October 9
($3,000). Both of these
additional sponsorships allow up
to 3 vendor representatives at
the sponsored event and the
normal vendor event for that
price. These sponsorships are
dedicated time for your company
– no other vendors are allowed
at these two sponsored events.
