The NYSLGITDA will hold our Annual Spring 2008 Conference Vendor Fair in Saratoga Springs, NY, at The Saratoga Hotel & Conference Center/Saratoga Springs City Center on May 7th and 8th, 2008. We are expecting more than 80 county and other local government CIOs, IT Directors and Senior Staff to attend (we had 85 attend in 2007!).

Please note that we have changed the Vendor opportunities this year! We will still be having our Vendor Dinner and Fair on May 7th and 8th. However, we will not be having vendor presentations. Instead, we have added 3 vendor sponsorship opportunities. Act quickly as these events traditionally sell out quickly (within days).

This conference will feature a Vendor Fair - exhibit of vendor systems, products, services and applications. We are having a pipe and drape show – with 10’ X 10’ vendor areas, located in the Saratoga Springs City Center. No more than 3 vendor representatives allowed per booth! Given the limited number of available tables (70), we are looking for exhibits that provide government IT personnel with valuable, relevant displays that apply to local governments. This is the perfect chance to demonstrate your products to the people who really make the technology purchasing decisions in NY State local governments. We will have tables available in the City Center from 9am to 2pm on May 8th. The cost of each table is $1,400, which includes the following with the group: dinner for three vendor representatives the evening of May 7th, breakfast on May 8th (for up to 3 representatives who man the booth), lunch within the Vendor Fair area (during the vendor fair – for the booth representatives). The money must be received by April 4, 2008. In order for you to display at the Vendor Fair, you must register with Dale Nieswiadomy as soon as possible at (585) 243-7113, or e-mail him at dnieswiadomy@co.livingston.ny.us. Tables limited to the first 70 vendors responding. We will create a waiting list, just in case a vendor does not pay or has to drop out. Note: the organization will be providing door prizes to keep attendees in the vendor area. No cancellation refunds after April 4, 2007.

This conference will also have 3 Vendor Sponsorship Opportunities. These sponsorship opportunities are for dinner on Tuesday (May 6th), lunch on Wednesday (May 7th), or dinner on Thursday (May 8th). For these sponsorships, items included are the vendor booth (with “at the entrance door” locations), 2 tables at the sponsorship event for hand-outs – information display, up to 4 representatives at both the sponsorship event and vendor fair event. For dinner sponsorships, the pre-dinner social hour and hospitality suite are included for your representatives. Costs for these vendor sponsorships are $7,500 each for the dinner events, $5,000 for the lunch event. Contact Dale for this opportunity. Vendors will be selected on a “first come” basis.

                    Shipping / Hotel Information:  
 
All shipping/receiving or storage must be arranged with the Hotel, City Center or Pipe and Drape Company directly. Electricity will be available at each table (20amp). Vendors must make all hotel reservations directly with the hotel (http://www.thesaratogahotel.com/ ) at normal hotel rates. We do have a vendor block of 100 rooms for Wednesday night. Please notify the hotel when reserving a room that you are a vendor for NYSLGITDA show!! This really helps the Association. Thanks.
